Hi Dani, all great tips. Using humor helps me lighten up when I am rehashing the past or writing a “soap opera” instead of a “Happy Ending”. I like the phrase, “I’ve temporarily misplaced my sanity.” I use it when I catch myself reacting to echoes of old NO’s. The phrase brings humor to the moment. It makes it easier to break away from mechanical reactions and respond from a fresh perspective.
