“I consolidate and batch my non-negotiable activities. Rather than let draining activities leak all over my work week, I schedule them into timeboxes.”

Best advice on this subject. Not only do I let these activities leak all over my days and weeks, but I spend way too much time on this. Scheduling them and setting limits is something I definitely need to do.

[...] J.D. Meier of Sources Of Insight: You make me THINK. I like that. I really, really like your ideas about focusing on one’s strengths instead of trying to improve one’s weaknesses. I especially enjoyed your post Spend 75 Percent On Your Strengths.
Hey Harmony -- pairing up is a great way to get results. Starters should pair with finishers, simplifiers should pair with maximizers, doers should pair with thinkers, detailers should pair with big picturers ....

You're right. You don't need to be all things to all people. Especially if that makes you weak. It's better to simply be YOUR best.

Thanks for the reminder that I don't need to be all things to all people. I have always needed the support of people much more detailed than I. It would take many lifetimes to get that 25% brought up to speed! Thank God for others in this world whose 75% is my 25%
