I love this... remembering the basics and the essence of what made you famous in the first place. And also, we can learn a lot from Kodak. For example, I love to tell stories. But if I place too much emphasis on the published, physical book (via traditional publisher for example) I lose sight of the essence of my brand. The brand is me, the brand is my ability to communicate, connect and tell stories.

How simple, how powerful - go back to basics. It's timely and applicable for me personally now. I am transitioning to a new role in a new company in a new industry, yet within the same category. My takeaway from all this - to succeed, i need to get back to basics and first start doing what made me succesful in first place, then adapt and build on it going forward.
