People are one of my best sources of insight. I find that everybody has two key things to share. First, their lessons in life. Everybody has learned something from life, and I think of this as “what are the things you know now, you wish you knew when you started out?” Second, everybody has a super power or something they are really great at. It’s something their friends know them for, or it might be something they dedicated their life to studying.

I draw from some well-known heroes and unsung heroes, as well as my personal heroes and everyday heroes. I also have a lot of mentors that I draw from. One of the best experiences is when I get to learn about one of my heroes through a book and then I meet them in real life.
