A growth mindset is the belief that your skills and abilities are not set in stone. In other words, a growth mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedicated effort and learning.
The opposite of a growth mindset is a fixed mindset. A fixed mindset is the belief that your skills and abilities are set in stone.
A growth mindset thrives on challenge, resilience, and continuous learning. A growth mindset helps you navigate new territories. And, with a growth mindset, you can revisit old territories, too, with a fresh perspective and open mind.
You shift from “know-it-all” to “learn-it-all” and embrace a life of growth and greatness.
What is a Growth Mindset?
You can think of a growth mindset as the belief you can grow better if you try.
Carol Dweck writes:
